University Archives

The University Archives preserve the significant written, oral, and pictorial record of Southern Oregon University, its faculty, staff, and students. The University Archives is the repository for University records scheduled for permanent retention according to OAR 166-475-0010. These records include publications, minutes, memoranda, photographs, sound recordings, film recordings, letters, public relations materials, documents, maps and blueprints, yearbooks, student publications, catalogs, and bulletins.

Currently, only some of these materials have been digitized for our digital collections. The following can currently be found in the University Archives Digital Collection, and more is being added.

Please check with Special Collections for information about getting access to original physical materials that may have been digitized to be included in our digital collections, or for materials that are not currently included in our digital collections.
